Dynamic Planner has a clear vision. Matching people to suitable portfolios through engaging financial planning. Why? So that they can fund the things in life which are important to them. In support of that, core to everything Dynamic Planner does are six values and constant reminders to how the company wishes to conduct itself.

Core to its vision, are Dynamic Planner’s environmental values. The business takes responsibility for its impact on the environment and on society. It is committed to managing and reducing it. As an important part of that, Dynamic Planner is annually Carbon Footprint Standard assessed and is working towards to being carbon neutral.

It considers the impact when it selects external suppliers and it assesses the impact of current and future operations, and integrates environmental considerations into business decisions.


The culture at Dynamic Planner is collaborative. Knowledge is shared and alongside their role, individuals are supported in pursuit of professional qualifications. Every Dynamic Planner team member has a Personal Development Plan, agreed with their manager.

Dynamic Planner prides itself on having an inclusive and a diverse team. It was highly commended at the 2021 FTAdviser Diversity In Finance Awards. But more than that. Team members genuinely care. Mental health is paramount and team members are supported if they have issues they are dealing with, at or outside of work.

During the calendar year, the business hosts warm get-togethers, from fortnightly all-company catch-ups on Microsoft Teams, to grander, annual summer offsite days.


Dynamic Planner is passionate about supporting causes close to team members’ hearts. Fundraising activities the team have taken part in include Red Nose Day, Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, the NSPCC and World Food Day.

Dynamic Planner received the Payroll Giving Platinum Award, ‘awarded to employers who have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through payroll giving’.

Each quarter, if the business achieves its ‘Rocks’ [key targets], it plants a tree on behalf of each team member in partnership with UK conservation charity Trees for Life. Dynamic Planner also regularly makes one-off donations to Trees for Life on top of that commitment. Today, it has funded the planting of more than 1,500 new trees in Scotland’s ancient Caledonian Forest.


Dynamic Planner is proud of its strong culture and clear set of environmental values and practices. We take responsibility for the impact we have on the local and global environment and are committed to reducing our environmental impact in four key areas:

Efficient use of resources by reducing consumption of materials and where possible using suppliers who will collect spent materials (e.g. cartridges) for recycling.
Reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants per employee through reviewing travel arrangements and ensuring efficient energy use in offices.
Working with others to reduce net environmental impact by assessing the environmental impact of our activities and partnering with organisations such as Trees for Life, a Scottish conservation charity.
Raising awareness among team members through appropriate education and training through policies, procedures, induction materials and ongoing communications.
