Purpose

Our goal is to support more than half the people getting financial advice in the UK and help bridge the financial advice gap – so people can fund the life they want.

We will achieve this by helping advice firms match people with suitable solutions through engaging financial planning and advice. Our solutions are based on deep sector expertise, ensuring we can deliver on our three brand promises:

  • Suitability. We ensure end clients are accurately profiled and investments in our service behave in line with their profile.
  • Efficiency. We increase the efficiency of the planning and advice process so organisations have the capacity to deliver quality advice to more people.
  • Value. We help organisations demonstrate their value to clients through planning and advice in the digital age.

Culture

We recognise our responsibility to our communities and to society as a whole. We partner with youth empowerment charity Urban Synergy to offer internships to Black Minority Ethnic and disadvantaged young people each year, providing guidance, work experience and mentoring.

Our teams support multiple fundraising activities and have taken part in events including Red Nose Day, Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, the NSPCC and World Food Day.

We are proud to have been recognised with the Payroll Giving Platinum Award, ‘awarded to employers who have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through payroll giving’. We are members of conservation charity Trees for Life, and through regular donations have to date funded the planting of more than 1,500 new trees in Scotland’s ancient Caledonian Forest.

We take responsibility for our impact on the local and global environment and acknowledge our responsibility to build a better tomorrow for our customers, our people and the wider community.

We align our business goals with our values to create long-term positive impacts, focusing on closing the financial advice gap within the UK while reducing our environmental footprint in four key areas:

  • Efficient resource use: We reduce material consumption and collaborate with suppliers who recycle spent materials, such as cartridges, promoting responsible resource management.
  • Emission reduction: We are committed to lowering greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants per employee by optimising travel arrangements and ensuring energy efficiency in our offices.
  • Collaborative environmental efforts: We assess the environmental impact of our activities and partner with organisations such as Trees for Life, a Scottish conservation charity, to reduce our net environmental footprint.
  • Team awareness and education: We continually raise awareness among our team members through education and training, embedding environmental responsibility into our policies, procedures and ongoing communications.
