Ian is Senior Analyst for the Investment Services Research Team, primarily responsible for the quantitative analysis that underpins Dynamic Planner’s ‘Premium’ and ‘Select’ grading system for investment vehicles. He is also a member of Dynamic Planner’s Investment Committee. Ian has devoted his professional life to research, beginning as a post-doctoral fellow (University of Reading) prior to joining the financial services industry, specialising in investment fund research.
He has more than 25 years’ experience of providing investment product analysis and technical support for large financial advice firms. In addition to fund research, Ian has experience of devising quantitative risk-grading schemes, portfolio construction systems and developing and operating a suite of authorised funds. Ian holds the Investment Management Certificate.
