Product Owner (FTC)

Location: Hybrid / Reading

The main purpose of this role is to collaborate closely with the Tram Working Group to deliver and refine our product vision. The Product Owner will be required to provide direction and a pipeline of work to the Development team, work directly with Sales and Customer Success to ensure implementation is functional and fit for purpose. As a key member of the Tram team this role requires advocacy both internally and externally for Tram and the vision.

Experience

  • 5 Years’ experience in a Product Owner/Manager role or similar
  • Experience designing and managing features for (native) mobile apps
  • Solid experience of agile processes and principles
  • Financial services industry knowledge
  • Business analysis or product owner certifications would be desirable

Responsibilities

  • Establish a vision of what you wish to build and convey that vision to the sprint team. Motivate the sprint team with a clear, elevating goal
  • Ideate, refine and design features alongside the Product Designer, Developers, Testers, and wider Product team
  • Work alongside Go To Market team to ensure new features and ideas are informed with consumer insight and research
  • Define the product backlog and create actionable user stories with the sprint teams
  • Use customer feedback to inform thinking on the backlog
  • Groom and prioritise the work in the backlog according to business value
  • Help ensure that the scrum team always has an adequate amount of well-prepared user stories to work on
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of sprint goals
  • Review and accept the completed user stories, making sure the work fulfils the acceptance criteria and adds the intended value
  • Bring a test and learn mentality to new features, ensuring we are learning quickly and regularly adding value to our proposition
  • Develop a solid understanding of our users, our products, the market place, the competition and future trends
  • Support the Customer Success and Sales teams with training and information about future roadmaps
