Junior Finance Analyst [3mth fixed term contract]
Role purpose
To support the Finance team with a key business change project. Key areas of responsibility include sales ledger finance processes, data analysis, systems development and reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Processing sales ledger allocations to ensure a reconciled sales ledger within the sage accounting system
- Raising renewals of sales contracts
- Assisting with raising sales invoices
- Assisting with debt collection analysis
- Ensuring sales orders are updated efficiently
- Monitoring and reporting attrition
- Dealing with queries – client / internal
- Assisting with the business automation project (involves salesforce)
- Manage contract data for finance
Key stakeholders
- Head of Finance and CFO
- Business automation project will involve speaking to a number of different departments
Competencies
- Knowledge of Sage 200 advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of excel
- Proficient with lots of data
- Self- starter
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
