Agile Delivery Lead
Role purpose
This role is ideal for experienced agile practitioners who are accountable for delivery ready to drive greater alignment and results at scale, by empowering and leading the team to maximise their potential.
Provide drive and leadership in evaluating and implementing applicable agile processes and methodologies to maximise flow and delivery of value to our end users
Effectively communicate team velocity and progress in all relevant forums developing stakeholder confidence through learning the Dynamic Planner product set, developing your understanding of the financial advice domain, evolving our agile processes and making a great contribution within our delivery team.
Key responsibilities
- Coaching agile teams: Adopting a mentor / coach mentality and approach across multiple agile teams on best practices, helping them to troubleshoot issues and improve their delivery of value
- Enable alignment: Facilitating key agile ceremonies – sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure alignment across teams
- Removing impediments: Proactively identifying and removing roadblocks that prevent the team being successful, ensuring smooth workflow
- Overseeing end-to-end flow: Track dependencies and work in progress to identify and address bottlenecks in the delivery process
- Improving technical practices: Work on enhancing technical practices to improve quality, velocity and business value
- Managing risks and trade-offs: Proactively identifying, assessing and managing risks, allowing informed decisions to balance any trade-offs and escalate key risks and issues appropriately
- Increase flexibility and adaptability: Encouraging adaptive planning and quick responses to change, making the team more flexible and resilient
- Focus on outcomes: Bring a greater focus on outcomes and business value to the teams, ensuring that the work being done aligns with organisational goals
- Ownership: Owns the teams’ velocity and sprint burndown, identifying the impediments and owning the resolution via team and / or cross functional collaboration
- Support your Product Owner: Support the planning and prioritising of the backlog according to business value and adapting the ways of working to maximise efficiency
- Iteration planning: Track and support the realisation of user stories and release planning to support the programme increments
- Team support and oversight: Provide key metrics and actively look to improve team wellbeing and flow
- Keep abreast with agile best practices and new trends.

Competencies
Experience in a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery / Project Management role for at least two years for a software development team is a must.
Personal financial advice domain knowledge would be a bonus.
Experience in Lean Product Development would be a bonus.
