Management Accountant
Role purpose
To ensure a robust financial control process across the group, including statutory and management reporting, and assisting with the automation of the finance functions.
Key responsibilities
- Process journal entries across the group to ensure timely month end reporting
- Support in the preparation of P&L, balance sheet and cashflow on a monthly basis
- Provide cost analysis and business partner with the heads of department to gain insight
- Prepare VAT returns under group submission
- Prepare and update accounting policies relevant for the group
- Ensure adherence with finance policies including expense and invoice approval policy
- Assisting with raising sales invoices
- Financial statement preparation across group
- Dealing with audit queries
- Collaborate with Head of Finance and CFO on process improvements and automation of Finance processes.
- Assist with FP&A activities including PowerBI analysis and dashboards
- Perform commission calculations on a quarterly basis
- Prepare consolidated orders summary on a monthly basis
- Cash management and debt collection analysis
- Support annual budgeting process and plan

Competencies (knowledge / skills / experience)
- Knowledge of Sage 200 advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Proficient with lots of data
- Self-starter
- Attention to detail

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Education & qualifications
- University degree
- Qualified accountant ACA
