Dynamic Planner, the UK’s leading AI-powered digital advice platform, has made three senior appointments to accelerate its next phase of AI-led growth.
Rory McLaren joins as Chief Technology Officer, a highly respected technologist with deep institutional experience in artificial intelligence and regulated financial services. Rory holds a First-Class degree in Computer Science with an AI specialisation and has spent two decades at the frontier of technology innovation in regulated financial services, most recently at Kaizen Reporting, where he authored the company’s AI manifesto and prior to that at Deutsche Börse.
Piers Lawson, who has spent two decades shaping the foundations of Dynamic Planner’s technology platform, moves into a newly created role as Chief Architect, leading Architectural Strategy. Together, Rory and Piers form a formidable senior technology leadership team driving AI and agentic AI across the platform.
Ian McEwan joins as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for sales, marketing and customer success. Ian brings over 25 years of experience scaling enterprise technology businesses across some of the industry’s most recognised names, from leading EMEA sales operations at IBM to Chief Commercial Officer at Aryaka Networks. He is renowned for building enterprise customer relationships rooted in genuine partnerships to ensure customers realise lasting, measurable value from the technology they invest in.
